In today’s highly competitive markets, it is increasingly important to have a skilled, motivated workforce. The Training Trust is able to provide high quality structured training to meet your needs.
Benefits for Employers
When employers take on a 16-18 year old on an apprenticeship , they receive £1,000 to help meet the extra costs associated with this. This will be paid to employers in two equal instalments at 3 months and 12 months. These payments are made to employers via their training provider, who will pass the money on.
What we can offer you:
- Access to government funded programmes
- Fully supported training
- Regular feedback on your employee’s progression
- Full cost commercial course
- Training for current staff
- Complete recruitment service
You can get help from the government to pay for apprenticeship training.
The amount you get depends on whether you pay the apprenticeship levy or not. You pay the levy if you are an employer with a pay bill over £3 million each year.
If you don’t need to pay the levy:
You pay 5% towards the cost of training and assessing your apprentice. You need to:
- agree a payment schedule with us
- pay directly for the training
The government will pay the rest (95%) up to the funding band maximum. This is paid directly to us as the training organisation.
If you pay the levy:
You will receive funds to spend on training and assessing your apprentices. The government will add 10%.You can set up your account here.
