An impressive 18 apprentices were nominated. It was a tough decision with so many excellent candidates but our overall winner was Billy Corfield who works at Clyde & Co and is undertaking a Level 3 Building Services Engineering Standard.
Billy was nominated by his employer as he has always expressed an interest in his work, he is always respectful and polite to all those he encounters, he works diligently observing all relevant safety standards and is a pleasure to work with such an enthusiastic apprentice. Billy has also been nominated by his Liaison Officer as he has had to overcome adversity due to a change of course part way through his first year. Despite this his tutor states that he had nearly caught up with his current class mates. He has passed all the exams he has taken so far. Additionally, he has excellent attendance and punctuality and good communication skills. He is polite, friendly and professional and is well respected by his employer who has given him glowing reviews. Everyone have been thoroughly impressed with all aspects of his performance.
Billy received a prize of £100.
Congratulations to all of our apprentices who received nominations. Also big thanks goes to those who took the time to nominate and to join us to celebrate.
